Land O Lakes
Situated in Pasco County, Land O’ Lakes is famous for being a place where several U.S. roads cross, such as Route 41, Suncoast Parkway, and SR 597, which has since contributed to its rise.
Land O' Lakes has been growing very rapidly in the past 10 to 20 years, with new neighborhoods, shopping, and schools having been built in numbers that the town has not yet seen before. The community is also a member of the Pasco County Library Cooperative with a library branch.
Some of the most notable places to visit include the Dupree Gardens (a 25 acre botanical garden that is renowned as the “Blossom Center of Florida”), and the Conner Preserve (part of a wildlife habitat corridor envisioned by Pasco County and the Southwest Florida Water Management District that will eventually connect the Starkey Wilderness Preserve to the Cypress Creek Preserve, making a continuous corridor of several thousands of acres in this region).
